The right firmness depends on your body weight and sleeping position. We offer varying firmness levels on each of our mattress models, and we can guide you, or you can test them in person at our Sydney or Willoughby showroom.

What’s the difference between latex, memory foam, and innerspring mattresses?

We don&rsquo;t use memory foam. The Cooper uses high-density polyfoam, while the Cloud and Aurora mattresses use natural latex. Underneath all of them is a robust pocket spring system for long-lasting support and reduced partner disturbance.

An Ausbeds mattress is built to last 10+ years. The system is designed so that you can swap out and replace worn out layers - instead of throwing away the entire mattress.

If you&rsquo;re waking up sore, rolling into a dip, or not sleeping well — it might be time. Most mass-market mattresses sag within a few years. Ours are built to prevent that with interchangeable comfort layers and high-quality materials.

Do I need a mattress protector or a mattress topper?

A mattress protector is a good idea to keep your mattress fresh and stain-free (especially for the warranty). We don&rsquo;t recommend a topper — your Ausbeds mattress is designed to feel just right on its own.

No need to flip. But we do recommend rotating your Ausbeds mattress every 3–6 months for even wear. The latex layers are interchangeable, so you can swap them out if your comfort needs change too.
