Trade-offs to consider

King Single is a single-person bed, so there's no half/half firmness option since it's designed for one sleeper. Sheet and bedding options are more limited than Queen (which dominates the market), though Kmart, Target, Big W, and Spotlight all carry King Single. Bed frames can also be slightly pricier than standard Single frames due to the non-standard width. None of these are dealbreakers, but worth knowing before you buy.
