Extending Our Firmness Range to Support Heavier Sleepers

We're introducing very firm springs (1.8mm, 6-turn) for people between 100kg and 150kg. If you're heavier and you've spent years sleeping on a rock-hard slab because that was the only way to get enough support, this changes things.

Very Firm, Level 14-16 (change)

  • Very firm springs
  • Medium latex

For people 100-130kg. Very firm support with enough softness on top for pressure relief. If you're a heavier person who's been putting up with rock-hard mattresses your whole life, this is worth trying. The firmer springs carry your weight, so the latex on top can actually cushion you.

The Very Firm option will also suit lighter sleepers who prefer a very firm mattress.

Super Firm, Level 17-19 (new)

  • Very firm springs
  • Firm latex

130kg+. Maximum support. This is for heavy people who need the most robust mattress we make.

Model choice

  • Cooper: No micro springs. No sink. The most direct feel. For back and stomach sleepers who need direct support for lower back pain.
  • Aurora: One micro spring layer. A little give for side sleepers or anyone who wants balanced cushioning on a firm base.
  • Cloud: Two micro spring layers. The most pressure relief you can get at this support level.

Why we added these

Our current firm springs suit people up to, and around, 100kg. But the feedback we got from heavier customers was that they wanted firmer support.

The introduction of very firm springs allows us to use softer cushioning on top. The result is a mattress that supports 100-150kg people, while still providing pressure relief and comfort.
