Ausbeds is moving to Gladesville
Ausbeds is moving from Marrickville to a bigger home in Gladesville. Our new showroom opens on Monday, 2 November 2026, and the final day at our Marrickville showroom will be Thursday, 5 November 2026.
Our Willoughby showroom is unaffected and will continue operating as usual.
Why we're moving to Gladesville
Our Marrickville lease is coming to an end, and we've outgrown the space. We moved production to the larger Gladesville workshop in June 2026, giving us more room for manufacturing and storage.
From 2 November, the showroom will be in the same building. You can try the Aurora and Cloud, see our mattresses being made and park on site.

Saying goodbye to Marrickville
The final day the Marrickville showroom will be open is Thursday, 5 November 2026.
We're grateful to everyone who visited us there, especially the customers who came in expecting a normal mattress shop and ended up falling asleep for three hours. Marrickville helped Ausbeds become what it is today.

Karl is the owner of Ausbeds. He started the company after realising how many people were frustrated by mattresses that failed too soon and too often. So he built a workshop in Sydney and began making mattresses the way they should be made - with transparent materials, adjustable designs, and customer-first thinking. When he's not in the showroom/workshop, he's on Reddit, Whirlpool, and OzBargain, cutting through industry fluff with honest mattress advice.
