How to Choose Your Perfect Ausbeds Mattress
Consider Your Budget
If cost is a primary concern, the Cooper offers exceptional value without sacrificing quality or adjustability.
Preferred Feel
Prefer a flatter, supportive feel? Consider the Aurora. For maximum plushness, the Cloud is your best bet.
Sleep Position
Side sleepers might prefer the extra cushioning of the Cloud, while back or stomach sleepers might favor the flatter feel of the Aurora.
Eco-Priorities
The Aurora and Cloud use certified natural latex, making them great choices for the environmentally conscious.

Spring and Firmness Adjustments
All models share the 996 honeycomb pocket springs as their main base spring system. Here’s how you can adjust the firmness:
- Adjusting Firmness Within the Same Model
To adjust the firmness within your current model:
- Make it firmer: Flip the main spring layer to the firm side.
- Make it softer: Flip the main spring layer to the soft side or remove the layer above the springs.
- Changing Firmness Categories
To move between firmness categories:
- Swap out the soft springs for medium springs, or medium for firm springs.
- Note: This change involves replacing the main spring system.
Cost for spring replacement:
- Free for 3 months (standard delivery rates apply)
Swapping Between Models
- Cooper to Aurora/Cloud
Upgrade: Replace the 7.5 cm high-density polyfoam layer in Cooper with the 5 cm Dunlop latex and micro spring(s) used in Aurora or Cloud.
- Add 1,600 micro springs to upgrade to Aurora.
- Add 3,200 micro springs (two layers) to upgrade to Cloud.
- The base layer of 996 honeycomb pocket springs remains the same.
Downgrade: Remove the Dunlop latex and micro springs from Aurora or Cloud and replace them with the 7.5 cm high-density polyfoam from Cooper.
- Aurora to Cloud
Upgrade: Add a second layer of 1,600 micro springs (totaling 3,200) to move from Aurora to Cloud. The 5 cm Dunlop latex remains unchanged.
Downgrade: Remove one layer of the 1,600 micro springs to move from Cloud to Aurora, keeping the 5 cm Dunlop latex.
